Coming from Europe
matyasMEDIA originated in Europe and relocated to British Columbia,
Canada, which gives us an unbeatable synthesis of Old World design
tradition and New World innovation.
Commitment:
matyasMEDIA operates several design facilities: website
design, flash development, graphic design, illustration and multimedia. Our
strength is our ability to transform the words (messages) from
the audible world into images in the visual world. We acknowledge
the simple fact that people communicate with words but remember
in pictures. Our thinking evolved around the adage “Tell me
your story, I’ll draw you an image.” That’s why
we listen carefully to our clients until we are able to commit
ourselves to create an image that people will intuitively understand
and remember.
 
History
matyasMEDIA is an offspring of Vaidy ART. Its 20 years of digital
design experience is enhanced by its conventional design experience
in architecture, illustration, graphic design as
well as music production and composition.
What we think
The tagline "Tell me your story, I'll draw you an image"
has become a driving force for matyasMEDIA. Walter Matyas, the principal,
believes that image and sound are inseparable elements of complementary
values. Every sound creates an image in the mind, and every picture
represents a message that can be written down or spoken. People
communicate using sound but remember words in the form of images.
Says Walter, "Every business has a story to tell. I can create
an image that will captivate the minds of your customers, if you
tell me your story."
Walter Matyas gives presentations on sound and image
that always seem to strike a chord with the most diverse audiences.
